Valsforge 5/160mg
Valsforge contains a combination of amlodipine and valsartan. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles of your heart and blood vessels. Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Valsartan keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
Description
Valsforge is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), especially in stage II hypertension after other blood pressure medicines have been tried without success.
Lowering blood pressure may lower your risk of a stroke or heart attack.
How to Use
Usual Adult Dose for Hypertension –
One tablet to be taken once daily or as recommended by a physician. It can be taken with or without food.
Warnings
Do not use Valsforge if you are pregnant.
Do not use Valsforge in combination with Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Do not use potassium supplements salt substitutes or Potassium-sparing diuretics while using Valsforge.
